Hi guys!
I mentioned in my site statistics, that a lot of people use the google translator to see my site in english. So i decided to continue my Blog in English. I hope that is easier for the guys abroad
Also i think it should be no problem for the others to read my blog in english. – And if so, it’s a good practice for them to learn english.
Back to the topic of this blog-entry.
As i have written in my last entry, i will explain how i realized the live video from the Pentax A30 to my iTheatre Video Glasses.
My equipment:
![]()
Video glasses (iTheatre), Power supply / Akku of the Videoglasses, 2.4 GHz receiver, 2.4 GHz CMOS camera back + front
How to disassemble the camera (and what is inside):
One part of the electronic is for the CMOS – Camera and the microphone pre-amlifier. And the other part is the transmitter (2.4 GHz Mono-Sound + PAL Video)
Cut the cable which came with the Pentax A30 and connect the PAL and Mono-Sound cable with the transmitter module of the CMOS camera. The CMOS-Camera itself isn’t needed anymore (maybe you can use it within another project)
The new “transmitter PCB” fits very well on the PENTAX PRISM module and so I combined it:
You can use any 2.4 GHz camera you want (ex. Babyphone, …). It’s quite sure that the camera has a separate PCB for the 2.4 GHz transmitter inside.
Good Luck!
Speedy

Hey, nice site!
Do you have a link for the 2,4ghz camera you used?
really nice.
Or do they all work like this? Didn’t think that using a different camera is so easy
gruss,
Christoph
Thanks for the compliment.
The camera i used was a cheap hong-kong 2,4GHz CMOS-camera. You can order such cameras over ebay (for example: http://tinyurl.com/2aa49w)
And i think, that all cameras with this housing will work like this. They are from the same manufacturer and have a HF part and a camera part.
If you want more transmission-power (200mW instead of 10mW) i would recommend this system to you: http://tinyurl.com/2v8um6
EDIT: corrected 2nd Link
Hi again, ah thats nice, and basically what I need.
The second link doesn’t work, do you know the name or so?
Thanks in advance,
(feel free to delete this comment and email me, or so
